Welcome to Fox Chapel Golf Club. We are delighted to have you as our guest and hope you enjoy your time with us. The Club is proud of its long-standing reputation as a premier country club, built on tradition and a continued commitment to excellence for the enjoyment of our members, their families, and guests. We kindly request that all guests adhere to our standards of conduct and attire during their visit.

Golf visitors, upon arrival, please proceed to the bag drop area. The golf staff will assist you with your bags and direct you to the check-in area.

Appropriate golf attire is required. Fox Chapel Golf Club's dress policy is designed to maintain the tradition, decorum, and dignity of our Club. While using Club facilities, proper dress should be traditional, neat, and conservative.

Men must wear collared shirts with sleeves at all times. Trousers or Bermuda-length shorts are acceptable. Tank tops, T-shirts, athletic wear (of any kind), jeans (or the like), cargo shorts or pants, denim suits, and athletic or tennis shorts are not permitted. Shirts must be tucked in while on the practice range and golf course. Hats and visors must be removed while in the main clubhouse and patio dining venues. Bills on caps must face forward. Golf or athletic shoes must be worn at all times.
Ladies must wear appropriate golf shirts (tops). Dresses, skirts, and golf shorts of suitable length are permitted (miniskirts are not allowed). Slacks and capri pants are acceptable. Halter tops, T-shirts, jeans (or the like), cut-offs, denim, athletic wear (of any kind), shorts, and aerobic (Yoga or Pilates) or tennis shorts are not permitted. Golf or athletic shoes must be worn at all times.
A round of golf for a foursome should take no longer than four hours and fifteen minutes. All groups are required to keep up with the group in front of them.

Guests should play the tees that are appropriate for their handicaps. Guests who do not have a single-digit handicap are not permitted to play from any set of back tees.
The driving range, practice areas, and putting greens are integral parts of our facility. Guests are expected to exercise proper etiquette and care while using the practice areas and range. Balls must never be hit over the driving range net for obvious safety reasons. Hitting from the grass in front of the range mats is strictly prohibited. Members and guests are reminded that it is an appreciated courtesy to clear the greens of balls after practicing chips and bunker shots. Golfers are also encouraged to follow posted guidelines regarding divot patterns in the short-game practice area.
Members and guests are required to wear conservative and tasteful attire while on Club premises. Traditional dress is required in the Main Clubhouse, Formal Dining Room, and Grill Room after 5:00 p.m.—this includes a sports coat for men and comparable attire for women.
 
Golf and other casual attire are welcome in the Terrace, Guyaux Family Dining Room, and Lynches Tavern. The porch outside the Ballroom may also be used in casual dress until 5:00 p.m. or with Terrace dining after 5:00 p.m.
 
Appropriate casual attire includes collared shirts or turtlenecks paired with dress slacks or shorts for men and slacks, skirts, shorts, dresses, shirts, or turtlenecks for women.
 
Please note that denim jeans are prohibited in the Main Clubhouse, Formal Dining Room, Grill Room, Terrace, or private event spaces. 
Cellular phones may be used in the locker portion of golf locker rooms, the pavilion/playground area of the pool complex, and the parking lot. Members and their guests should always observe proper cell phone etiquette, including using low voices, discreet use, and keeping the phone in a non-ringing mode. Texting and email (only) from cell phones are permitted in other areas of the Club and on the golf course when used with the utmost decorum. The use of personal computers, iPads, and similar devices is prohibited in the dining facilities.
